Benefiting from a recent renovation, the Royal Horseguards wins renewed praise from guests for its comfortable, stylish rooms and warm, attentive staff. As its name suggests, it’s right in the middle of the most majestic part of London.
The Royal Horseguards is a very grand hotel with a rich history. Due to the traditional building, the guestrooms vary in size and layout, but on average they are medium sized. All rooms are furnished very elegantly in a traditional manner and all boast modern facilities with some of the rooms also offering a magnificent view across the Thames. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition. On the ground floor there’s a traditional lounge, where afternoon tea is served. Leading off from the lounge is the bar, and to the left of the bar there’s a very traditional restaurant with the atmosphere of a gentlemen's club. Due to the hotel’s proximity to the Palace of Westminister, the hotel’s bar and lounge are frequented by many politicians.
