Initially booked into an occupied room on a floor undergoing building work. After complaint we were reallocated a new room on a different floor with complimentary bottle of wine. Everything from there on was fine. Ideal location for everything in central London.

The room was disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel. It was small and the bed was jammed against the wall. The bathroom needed updating and the window [sans curtain] rattled. Very close to theatres, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and other attractions; many excellent restaurants close by.

Fantastic location for this no frills but excellent hotel. Only one problem you may have to wait for a table at breakfast

An unbeatable location for the price, two minutes walk from Covent Garden and five from Leicester Square. Whether you're looking for a convenient base to attend the theatre or a handy place to stagger back to after a night on the town, the Strand Palace Hotel offers an affordable bed for the night in London's busiest districts. The double glazing meant that although the room was hot at night, it was possible to get a decent night's sleep in a noisy area. Not much in the way of facilities but you pay for the location. Recommended.

Fantastic location, beautiful clean and bright hotel and the staff were very professional and friendly. So much to see and do in the area adjacent to and surrounding the hotel. Definately visit Covent Garden.
